Al Vafa grew up in New York and Los Angeles, starting his music career in Santa Barbara in the 1990s. His blues band - Little Al & the Infidels-was one of the most popular bands in the Santa Barbara club scene. He later became a solo artist and had residency at the El Encanto and San Ysidro Ranch.
